SHIFT works by identifying the specific internal trigger driving a reaction, interrupting the meaning attached to it, and restoring a stable internal baseline.

When perception changes, the reaction no longer fires.

Behaviour does not need to be forced.
Emotional responses reorganise naturally.
The system stops reacting because there is nothing left to protect against.

The outcome isn’t control or discipline.
It’s absence, the absence of a reaction that no longer belongs.
